Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the DumpsterFinder website and mobile apps (the "App"), operated by DumpsterFinder LLC ("DumpsterFinder", "we"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them.

1. What DumpsterFinder is

DumpsterFinder is a directory and software provider. Listings, prices and terms are provided by each hauler. We do not verify licenses, insurance or pricing beyond the facts shown on each badge, we are not a party to any rental, and we do not endorse any hauler. Reviews are user opinions.

We also provide the software that independent dumpster-rental businesses ("haulers") use to run their own online storefronts. When you book, you leave the App and book on the hauler's storefront, with the hauler, under the hauler's terms, paying the hauler directly.

2. Listings, prices and badges

2.1 Each listing shows the hauler's name, service area, container sizes and the hauler's own "from" price, included days, included tons and overage rate. Prices shown are supplied by the hauler and confirmed at the hauler's checkout. The App's price is a comparison aid, not an offer by us.

2.2 Badges show only facts we have checked mechanically (for example, that the business phone answered a verification code, or that the hauler accepts online payment). A badge is not a license check, an insurance check, a background check or a recommendation. We do not vet, screen or inspect haulers.

2.3 Sorting is by the hauler's from-price, distance or rating as you choose. A hauler may pay for a "Featured" label; a Featured hauler is never placed above a cheaper hauler when you sort by price, and the label is always shown.

3. Booking happens with the hauler

3.1 The "Continue to [Hauler]'s storefront" button opens the hauler's own storefront. From that point the page, the terms, the payment and the service are the hauler's. We provide the hauler's software; we do not take your order, collect your money, or perform the service.

3.2 Your rental is a contract solely between you and the hauler. Delivery, pickup, placement, weight limits, overage charges, extensions, cancellations, refunds and damage are governed by the hauler's terms, which you accept on the hauler's checkout.

3.3 If you have a problem with a rental, contact the hauler using the phone and email on your booking page. If you disagree with a charge, you can dispute it with your card issuer against the hauler's charge. We cannot refund, credit, reverse or decide a rental issue because we are not a party to it and never hold your payment.

3.4 Report a storefront to us only for impersonation, fraud, illegal content or abuse of the App. Such reports are reviewed within one business day; they are not service complaints.

4. Your account

4.1 You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time in the App; deletion removes your account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Bookings you made with haulers remain the haulers' records.

4.2 Notify-me, saved searches and review invitations are optional. Text messages require your separate consent and you may opt out at any time by replying STOP. See the SMS Terms.

5. Reviews

5.1 You may review a hauler you have used. Reviews must be your own honest experience, free of personal information about others, threats, off-topic content and competitor promotion. A review is marked "verified booking" only when the hauler's storefront confirms the booking code you provide.

5.2 We moderate before publication for the rules above only, and we remove a review only for violating them, with a notice to you. Haulers see reviews only after publication and may post one public reply. Reviews are user opinions and are not verified by DumpsterFinder except where marked "verified booking". You grant us a license to publish your review.

6. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or misuse listing data; interfere with the App; create fake accounts or reviews; impersonate anyone; or use the App for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, text, data compilations and marks belong to us or our licensors. Hauler names, logos and copy belong to the haulers. You get a personal, revocable license to use the App as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty about the accuracy of listings, the availability, quality, safety, legality or pricing of any hauler's service, or that the App will be error-free. Any dealing with a hauler is at your own risk and under the hauler's terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, DumpsterFinder and its officers, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a rental or from a hauler's act or omission. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the App in the past twelve months (which is normally nothing). Some states do not allow some of these limits; in those states they apply to the extent permitted.

10. Disputes with us

10.1 [Counsel to confirm by state.] Any dispute between you and DumpsterFinder about the App will be resolved by binding individual arbitration under the Consumer Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and you may opt out of arbitration by emailing support@df.159-203-68-13.sslip.io within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived. Disputes with a hauler are not covered by this section and are between you and the hauler.

10.2 Florida law governs these terms, subject to the Federal Arbitration Act.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with its effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the App or by email. The version you accepted is recorded with your account.
