What our badges mean

DumpsterFinder shows a badge only for a fact we actually checked, with the date we checked it. A badge is not an endorsement.

Business phone verified
The hauler entered a one-time code sent by text to the business phone on its listing.
Accepts secure online payment (Stripe)
Stripe reports that charges are enabled on the hauler’s own Stripe account. You pay the hauler directly. Stripe’s identity checks are Stripe’s, not ours.
Website verified
The hauler verified control of its custom domain or confirmed an email address at the domain on its listing.
Business entity on file
Our staff matched the hauler’s legal name to a state business-registry record. This is not a license check.

What we do not check

  • Licenses, permits or registrations beyond the badges above
  • Insurance or bonding
  • Driver records, equipment condition or background checks
  • Whether a hauler’s prices or availability are accurate (the hauler confirms them at its checkout)

Reviews, where shown, are user opinions and are not verified except where marked “verified booking”.
